One guy said DNS can not serve short names--discouraging but I found a way to make it happen. I thought I had this beat when nslookup began resolving short names. DHCP now serves Peanut as primary DNS and Leo as secondary, which I've verified with ipconfig on Windows and nmcli on Linux.
